BLUE BOX EXHIBITION ERNESTO MIES

Ernesto, born in 1952, developed an early fascination with color contrasts. He studied under Theo Deisel and later attended art academies and university.

I recall being captivated by the striking contrast between a yellow and black triangle when I was just five years old.

In 1975, he held his first solo exhibition. Though declared artistically incapable in 1976, he was “rehabilitated” by the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1979.
