The artist was born in the Hanseatic town of Bremen. She finished her Art Studies at the University of Göttingen, and now she lives and works as e freelancer artist in Friedland. With numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad, the artist traveled to Portugal for the first time in 1975. The impressions of the sceneries, the wildlife, nature, and the Portuguese culture can be found in her pictures.
