Cuba
Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1973, the artist has been living between Portugal and the UK, where he continues to develop his artistic practice. His work focuses on exploring and deepening a new cubist vision, in which time emerges as the central protagonist. Alongside the spatial dimensions, time contributes to a more comprehensive perception of both the physical and spiritual realms. His art demonstrates that Cubism remains relevant today, offering insights into the multiplicity in which we exist—as participants, precursors, and results of our surroundings. Recently, he participated in the course *Cubism in Modern Culture*, organized by the Museo Reina Sofía and Sociedad Telefónica in Madrid. Throughout his career, he has exhibited his works in various galleries in his native Havana, where he also created two large-scale murals. He has received two national awards in the visual arts and has served as a jury member in a competition sponsored by the Canarian Association of Cuba. His work has also been showcased in galleries in Canada, Switzerland, and Portugal, and has been acquired by private collectors in Cuba, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Portugal.
