Rita is a Portuguese artist based in Lagos. Her artistic journey began in 2009 when she enrolled in the Sculpture program at the Faculdade de Belas-Artes in Lisbon. In 2010, she shifted her focus to Equipment Design at the same institution, completing her degree in 2013. In 2014, Rita pursued a Master’s degree in Product Design at the Superior School of Arts and Design in Caldas da Rainha. That same year, she joined LAC – Laboratório de Actividades Criativas in Lagos, where she continues to work as a resident artist.
